Learning Enhancement Corporation has created the BrainWare Safari Brain Awareness Week Grants to support a broader understanding of the importance of brain research and its contribution to effective learning and cognitive development in schools. This year's Brain Awareness Week, sponsored by the Dana Foundation, is scheduled for March 12 to 18, 2012. Up to 16 school applicants will receive a variety of awards with a a value totaling over $100,000 in licenses for BrainWare Safari cognitive development software.
BrainWare Safari Brain Awareness Week Grants:
Elementary School-Wide Grant -- 3-year building-level BrainWare Safari license for an Elementary School
1 Elementary School-Wide Grant will be awarded.
Middle School-Wide Grant -- 3-year Building-level BrainWare Safari license for a MIddle School
1 Middle School-Wide Grant will be awarded.
Classroom Grant -- 30 student licenses to be used within one school, Elementary, Middle or HIgh School
4 Classroom Grants will be awarded.
Student Support Grant -- 5 student licenses to be used within one School, Elementary, Middle or High School
10 Students Support Grants will be awarded.
The successful applicants for these awards will be announced during Brain Awareness Week 2012.
