Welcome to the BrainWare Safari Awareness Week Grants Program!
If you are considering apply for one of our Brain Awareness Week grants, we know you are an educator who cares about the brains in your charge -- those of your students, your faculty and staff, and the community around you. We also can guess that you have embraced the vital impact that brain research is making in the world of education. We are delighted to welcome you to the important efforts of expanding awareness and understanding of brain research in a way that can impact your students in the very near term.

Please note that, while the grant awards will be announced the week of March 12-18, 2012, the licenses provided in the awards may be activated either during the current school year OR during the 2012-2013 school year, especially in the case of School-Wide or Classroom awards.

Type of Information Required in the Application
You will need to provide basic contact information for your school and yourself, and identify the grant for which you are applying. You will also be asked to describe:

How you are helping your students, teachers, staff and parents become more aware of brain science and understand the brain and its functioning. (Limit 1,000 words)

How you will implement the program with fidelity to the recommended protocol (3-5 times per week, 30-60 minutes per session, over 10 to 12 weeks)? (Limit 1,000 words)

How you plan to assess the impact of the program on your students -- a vareity of suggestions are included within the appplication -- and how you plan to share the results within your community and with other schools. (Limit 1,000 words)

You will have the option to provide a short video or powerpoint presentation in support of your application.
