Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy.  This privacy policy describes Learning Enhancement Corporation's current policies and practices with regard to personal data collected by Learning Enhancement Corporation (LEC) through its website, MyBrainWare.com.  The privacy policy is independent from LEC's offline personal data collection practices.  The term "personal data" refers to personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, birth date, email address, phone number or mailing address.

Notification of Changes to This Policy.  LEC is continually improving and adding new functionality and features to its website and improving and adding to our existing products, services and programs.  Because of these ongoing changes, changes in the law, and the changing nature of technology, LEC's data practices will change from time to time.  If and when our data practices change, LEC will post the changes on our website to notify you of the changes.  We encourage you to check this page frequently.

Personal Data Collected through MyBrainWare.com.  Other than cookies, as described below, the only personal data LEC currently collects through its website is the information you voluntarily give us when you use our site.

For example, you may use this site to contact LEC with questions and comments, to access certain documents and recorded material, to register for webinars or to order our products.  When you fill out a form on our website, you may provide your name and other contact information, including your email address, phone number, mailing address and other personal information.

Use of Personal Data Collected through MyBrainWare.com.  LEC uses the personal data you provide to answer your questions or to resolve you problem, as well as to fulfill any product orders you place with us.  We also use this information to help us improve the content and functionality of our website, to better understand our customers and markets, and to improve our products and services.  LEC may use this information to contact you if we have questions about your order that we need to resolve in order to fill it.  We may also use the information to contact you in the future to tell you about products or services we believe will be of interest to you.  If we do so, each communication we send you will contain instructions permitting you to "opt out" of future communications.

LEC does not give or sell any personal information to any third party.

Anonymous Data Collected through MyBrainWare.com.  In addition to the information you provide when you use our website, LEC may use technology to collect anonymous information about the use of our website.  For example, we may use technology to track how many visitors access our website, the date and time of their visit, the length of their stay, and which pages they view.  W may also use technology to determine which web browsers our visitors use and the address from which they accessed our site (for example if they connected to an LEC website by clicking on an ad on another website).

This technology does not identify you personally; it simply enables us to compile statistics about our visitors and their use of our site.  We use this anonymous data to improve the content and functionality of our website, to better understand our customers and markets, and to improve our products and services.

Cookies.  A cookie is a small piece of information that is sent to your browser and stored on your computer's hard drive.  Cookies do not damage your computer and they cannot be used to discover the identity of a user.  You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie.  This enables you to decide if you want to accept it or not and whether you are required to accept the cookie to view certain content.  LEC may use cookies to remember user inputs during a user session.  For example, a "shopping cart" application records purchases up until the user reaches checkout.  Personalization features also use cookies to identify groups of users and deliver appropriate content and services.

Children.  LEC does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.  If you are under 13, please do not give us any personal data.  If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personal data to LEC, please contact us, and we will try to delete that information from our databases.

Links to Other Sites.  This privacy policy applies only to LEC's websites.  LEC's websites may contain hyperlinks to websites that are not operated by LEC.  These hyperlinks are provided for your reference and convenience only and do not imply any endorsement of the activities of these third-party websites or any association with their operators.  LEC does not control these websites and is not responsible for their data practices.  We urge you to review the privacy policy posted on any website you visit before using the site or providing any personal data about yourself.

As she passed more levels, her success became greater, and she would even surprise herself."
